dc.description.abstract Today many tasks require large amounts of computing power. Many students cannot afford such a setting. To achieve these goals, cloud computing initiative will provide students with cloud access to GPU's and other high end hardware for rendering, compiling and other tasks. We will build and deploy a cloud using open source components and AI ML services so that hardware can be used by anyone, anywhere. To meet our project building needs, we will be using the Openstack platform. Openstack is a software platform that manages a huge pool of computing, storage and network resources through API's or dashboards. Additional components in addition to the usuals infrastructure-as-a-service capabilities, include orchestration, fault management and service management, among other services, to gurantee that user applications are available at all times.
